Cos Dearie finally got back his pay after 5 mths!
but it's super infuriating.
They kept insisting that he worked for 10 hours becos the previous supervisor said "I think he worked 10 hours for 2 days (:".But the fact is he worked for 12 hours in that 2 days! They had no prove that he worked for 10 hours. I admit that we also have no prove that my Dearie worked for 12 hours. BUT! it's
their job to keep a record of how long he work into the comp and pay him by DEC! if he din give his particulars to the company, it's
THEIR responsibities to ask him for his particulars and pay him the money and not just let the matter go.
It's not our fault that it's 10 hours instead of 12. It not our fault that up till ytd he still din get his pay. I dunno how many times i've asked them for the pay. So many times i've asked my Dearie to phone them, sms them. What we got was, "
oh! we'll bank in the money end of the mth (:"
So many times we had faith that it will be end of the mth. So many times we forgive them, thought that it's not their fault for the miscommunication due to their finance dept is in Dubai.
So many times... until ytd, i demanded him for a ans. WHY it is still not banked in? WHY is it 10 hours. The only thing he kept telling me was..
u sure he din get the money? u sure his particulars is given correctly? i've done all i could, i already did this and dat... this is not his problem and that he's helping me. I KNOW it's not his problem. but since he took over that position and since he dont allow me to contact the finance person whom i could consult. den who i can ask!? All he knew was telling me that not his fault, he already did everything.
Then I broke down and said, can u listen to me?!
it's not our fault too! My Dearie shld get back the money by DEC!!! and it shld be 12 hours. Den he told me, 10 or 12 is a
small matter.. if it's 12, i will give you 12.. if we still dont get the money, he will fork out from his own pocket. He will go back home and check for us why did the transaction failed or wad. he will show us what happened.. why we din get the money. Den within 2 days, he will get back to us.
Den i asked him, by 2 days is the news or the money? He said both. I asked him, if by 2 days we still din get the money who can i complain due to this cause? Him and the other colleagues laughed. (-_-"') And told me that i can complain to Sonam, their boss. Then i said, i will complain to the Ministry of Manpower (And i mean it).
I truely hope they could give me this chance to complain. But unfortunately, today he phoned or msg my Dearie down to collect a cheque. And the amt that comes with it was $49.50. FANTASTIC!!!!
I had so much faith that my Dearie would get 12 hours after he told me that 10 or 12 is small matter. and that he would give me 12. In the end, my Dearie got only 9.9. Lucky my Dearie assured me that it's okay, at least still got some money. If not i wont just let it go.
It was me who introduced my Dearie for this job. Cos i thought it would be great to be able to work with him in the same park. And that he has the opportunity to play with professional cameras and develop his talent. But ended up he got bullied by his supervisor. He signed him late for work whereas the truth is that he was early. Asked him to be the mascot for 90 mins straight whereby others will only need 15-20 mins. sigh. Now is like my Dearie worked 2.1 hours for free like dat.
But as long as my Dearie says it's okay. I will just let it go from now onwards.
